Restrictions
- Unlimited use of all subway lines operated by Tokyo Metro and Toei Subway, limited to 24, 48, or 72 hours from start of use. You may not use it on every train around Tokyo.
- To use this pass you must be a foreign tourist visiting Japan from abroad for sightseeing, under the entry status of 'temporary visitor'. According to Japanese Immigration Law, Temporary Visitor entry status allows a stay in Japan of 15 days up to 90 days for sight-seeing and other purposes.
- One adult can bring up to two infants (ages 0-5) for free. If three or more infants accompanies one adult, a child price will be needed.
- Japanese citizens may not use this pass.
Additional Notes
- Vouchers can be exchanged to physical tickets within one year from the purchase date. After exchanging, the physical ticket is valid for six months. Expiration date will be shown on the physical ticket.
- If you enter the station within the valid time, you can leave the station even if the ticket expires while you are on the train.
- If you do not use the ticket within the expiration date stated on the ticket, it will become invalid.
- Please be aware that if you transfer over to another company’s railway line (other than Tokyo Metro and Toei Subway lines), you will have to settle that fare separately when you get off the train.
Dressing & Items to Bring
- Printed or digital copy of your VELTRA voucher with the QR code is needed. Please note that the voucher cannot be used directly and must be exchanged at select ticket booths for the physical ticket.
- Lost tickets will not be reissued.
